Abstract
Pajak karbon menjadi salah satu kebijakan mitigasi perubahan iklim yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi emisi karbon di atmosfer. Tulisan ini menganalisis kebijakan pajak karbon yang diterapkan di Indonesia dengan membandingkannya dengan kebijakan serupa di Norwegia. Dengan metode doktrinal, tulisan ini mengidentifikasi perbedaan dan persamaan antara Indonesia dan Norwegia berdasarkan ketentuan hukum yang berlaku di masing-masing negara. Adapun temuan penting dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi pajak karbon di Indonesia berbeda dengan Norwegia dalam tiga hal utama, yaitu mekanisme cap-and-tax yang digunakan Indonesia, tarif pajak yang jauh lebih rendah, dan cakupan sektor yang terbatas; perbaikan pada ketiga aspek ini penting bagi Indonesia untuk membatasi emisi karbon secara efektif
